Powerstar Pawan Kalyan finally broke his silence upon his relation with elder brother Megastar Chiranjeevi. In a way, he gave an emotional talk about Chiru & Sardaar Gabbarsingh.
Going into the details, Pawan reasserted that he has highest regards for his brother anytime and stated that he need not keep proving that time and again. He regarded his Annayya-Vadina as next to his parents and enunciated the fact that if he is anything now, it is all because of his Annaya & Vadina.
Talking about SGS, Pawan recalled the period before entering into films. He happened to visit the borders of Khammam (now Telangana) & Madhya Pradesh (now Chhattisgarh) and felt like making a love story with a cow boy flavor. That thought has eventually evolved into Sardaar Gabbarsingh with an imaginary village of Rattanpur – a script that took him about 2yrs to complete. In addition to this, Pawan also clarified that he did not make SGS to compete with any film (referring to Baahubali) or break any records.
Besides this, PK thanked his team and fans for standing by him all through the journey of SGS and revealed that it is like a promise he wanted to make to Chiru (who was earlier disappointed with Johhnyy flop) with SGS. He concluded in style with his the dialogue “naan yedanaa.. gabbarsingh…sardaar gabbarsingh”
