Sardaar Mega Disaster in Hindi?

Power star Pawan Kalyan’s Sardaar Gabbar Singh is a much anticipated film down South but everyone were skeptical about the fate of its Hindi version. Much to the dismay of the makers and fans the film is having a nightmare there, as per latest trade reports.

Ace production and distribution giant Eros International bought the film for about Rs 13 Cr and spent additional Rs 4 Crore for its promotion as well. However things didn’t work out well as expected and the openings for the Hindi version are in fact seriously disappointing. According to the trade reports, the theatre occupancy (Hindi version) is just 4 percent with an estimated collection of just Rs 36 lakhs in three days. Well this is an all-time low for any star hero (forget about comparisons with Baahubali).

Even the collections for the Telugu versions have reportedly dropped by around 60% from the second day and the distributors are worried big time. Sardaar Gabbar Singh is estimated to have minted Rs 61Cr (gross) in the first weekend and unfortunately the chances are not any bright for this commercial potboiler. Let us see how and where Sardaar will finish off!
