Bahubali Effect On Malabar Industry

When you take an analytical look at the south cinema circuit you know for a fact that Mollywood is the one industry where content is the peak priority where budget is the least priority. Most of the movies are made in shoestring budgets and score maximum on story.

But now one film seems to have triggered their cash pockets too. We are talking about the magnum opus Baahubali and you would have noticed how right from Bollywood, many are inching towards period and historical war movies with heavy budgets.

Coming to Mollywood, the noted director I V Sasi and producer Sohan Roy are teaming to make a movie named Burning Wells with Gulf War backdrop. The budget for this is slated to be a whopping Rs 175 crores. It has to be seen whether the makers can recover given the market stamina.
