'Less Scary More Commercial'- Intlo Dayyam Nakem Bayyam Audio Review

Intlo Dayyam Nakem Bayyam is an upcoming comedy flick starring Allari Naresh and Kruthika in lead roles. Music for the film is composed by Sai Karthik and the film is produced by BVSN Prasad. Here is an iQlik exclusive audio review of the album:

The album begins with a quirky number Paddanu Indumathi sung by Dhanunjay and penned by Bhaskarabhatla. The cool string section and foot tapping rhythm paves the way for a fun filled composition. Dhanunjay who is adept in rendering such enjoyable numbers delivers another winner. However, there is not much novelty or experimentation in the rhythm section.

Satamanam Bhavati is a classy duet based on Carnatic Raaga Naata and sung by Revanth and Harini Vaturi with swift vocals. Bhaskarabhatla’s lyrics are contemporary and stylish and give the song a modern twist.  The peppy nadaswaram and linear bass work is coupled well with acoustic guitar.

Another entertaining number Ayyanu Nene Fida penned by Ravi Mulakalapalli with Sufi touch sung by Sai Charan and Sai Shilpa. The rhythm gives the song a north Indian touch and usage of harmonium is also done quite well.  The song is high on melodious aspect and doesn’t falter In fun mode.

Dabaai Dabaai is a folk mass number sung by Simha and Diviaa Karthik  and penned by Chilaka Rekka Ganesh. It is a typical Sai Karthik composition which is high on energy levels. The song gives the album an inevitable mass appeal in terms of presentation, orchestration and rendition of lead singers.

The finale arrives with Jo Achyutananda with innocent kid rendition but it has an eerie twist with a horror background. The song suddenly transforms to symphony which shows impending tension and scariness in a convincing manner.

Verdict:

Intlo Dayyam Nakem Bayyam is an average fare from Sai Karthik. The album entertains but the presentation sounds repetitive.
