Focus: Mughal-E-Azam Vs Dana Veera Soora Karna

Speaking about masterpieces in Indian cinema, the Hindi movie Mughal-E-Azam and Telugu movie Dana Veera Soora Karna have a special place. Many reasons attributed to their success and here is one for a change. The dialogues in Mughal-e-Azam were impeccable.

It was spoken in chaste Urdu and many dialogues had a poetic touch. The same is the case with Daana Veera Soora Karna. The contemporary movies like Gautamiputra Satakarni and Bahubali didn’t come with lengthy dialogues. Point is, even those days they didn’t understand but enjoyed the impact and beauty of the way it sounded.

To put honestly, how many among us understood NTR’s dialogues in DVSK. Of course, it also takes that type of actors to deliver such high performance roles. Not sure if such calibre of actors are there in today’s time and whether they can pull it off.
