Hindi Rights Is An Oxygen Cylinder

The business of cinema has become extremely tough if you were to consider the conventional mode of making money i.e theatrical collections. For quite sometime, the satellite rights worked as a breather because even small budget flicks used to get like Rs 1 crore. But now, even satellite market has taken a beating.

With this, the only hope for the Telugu film industry happens to be the Hindi rights. It is heard that the Mumbai folks are willing to spend crores of rupees if you are ready to show them a strong content driven subject. As it is, the Telugu movies have great demand in the northern side due to its glamour, action and commercial values.

While the dubbing rights itself is offering a juicy number, if you are able to sell the remake rights it would be phenomenal. All in all, the Hindi industry which was once proving to be a lighthouse in terms of filmmaking to Telugu has now become a knight in arms for all those movies which tend to struggle a lot.
