Special Privilege For Mahanati

It has been quite a while since the film ‘Mahanati’ a biopic on the legendary actress Savitri, came and recorded its presence. The film did extremely well at the box office and it also won the acclaim of many critics and intellectuals. Though time has passed, the film continues to have it slice of glory and fame.

Now, this biopic has got another special privilege. Reports have confirmed ‘Mahanati’ has been chosen as one of the contenders in the mainstream section at the prestigious International Film Festival of India (IFFI) 2018. This is going to take place in Goa from November 20th to 28th and happens to be the only south Indian movie in the list.

Featuring cutie pie Keerthy Suresh and sophisticated stud Dulquer Salmaan in the lead, the film was helmed by Nag Ashwin. The other contenders in the race are the Bollywood flicks ‘Raazi’ ‘Padmaavat’ ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ and ‘Nagarkirtan’. Here’s wishing the best of success to ‘Mahanati’ and team.
