Varun Tej excited about 'F2' Movie

Seen playing an astronaut in his last Telugu release Antariksham, Varun is eagerly looking forward to the release of Telugu comedy F2 this week. The film has Varun sharing screen space with actor Venkatesh for the first time.

Talking about the experience of working alongside Venkatesh, he said: "I didn't expect him to be so cool. We had so much fun shooting, and I think the experience helped me to get better at comedy. I've acquired great comic skills now." Varun Tej has been approached to play one of the leading roles in Telugu remake of Tamil blockbuster film Jigarthanda. The Tamil film was directed by Karthik Subbaraj, the younger director who has made Rajinikanth’s Petta. While Siddharth played an aspiring filmmaker in Jigarthanda, Bobby Simha played a dreaded gangster.

Varun Tej has been approached with an offer to essay Simha's role in the film, which will be directed by Harish Shankar of Subramanyam for Sale fame.  When approached, the actor said it is true that the makers have offered him the role."It's true that the makers have approached me with an offer but I haven't officially signed on the dotted line yet," Varun said.
