Khaidi, a Karthi starrer is releasing on October 25 as Deepavali is around the corners. Directed by Lokesh Kanagarajan, Karthi plays a father who is out from jail after serving ten years of imprisonment. To know why he went to jail, you have to watch the film on the big screen. Meanwhile, Karthi loses his wife in the film since day 1 his daughter is born, he never saw her and all his efforts are just to see her.
“Khaidi is all about daughter and father bond and especially being a father in personal life too, I could relate to the feeling of the father. I used to keep asking the director whether the prisoner will be able to see her daughter or not. I was very thrilled. I was very much emotional because, for this film, even I was away from my daughter for 40 days,” said Karthi.
Karthi will be seen in a completely raw and rustic form for this film and he says this film is special for him.
