Shweta Basu Prasad made her debut in Telugu with the film Kotha Bangaru Lokam. Later, she did a few more films in Telugu but they failed to help her in career. Now, she is inactive in the movies, after a divorce. But, the actress is gearing up to do a new movie in Hindi.
Titled Comedy Couple, Shwetha Basu Prasad accepted to do the movie. Along with Shakeeb Salim, Shweta Basu Prasad is going to share the screen space in the film. Nachiketh Sumanth is the director of the film that will stream on Zee5. The director earlier did Marathi movies Gacchi, Habaddu and Good Buddy Gadbadi.
Currently, Shweta Basu Prasad is acting in Doctor.Don web series. She plays an advocate Rekha in the film. The complete details of the project will come out soon.
