'It was hell,' says AR Rahman on Rajinikanth's films

Music Maestro AR Rahman has ready composed some materpieces in his musical career. But, most of us don't know the experience he often went through while composing them.

Recently, Rahman opened up about the days when he worked for Rajinikanth’s films. Rahman composed music for Rajinikanth’s Muthu, Sivaji: The Boss, Enthiran, and 2.0 movies. On a shocking note, Rahman called the working experience for Rajini’s films ‘hell’. It seems like the reasons behind his shocking revelations include short deadlines and increasing burden. “It is better now. But, in those days, I used to start working on Rajinikanth’s movies in March. His movies will get released for Diwali. I will have to complete the songs, BGM. The electricity at my place used to trouble me a lot. We used to have two generators. It was hell,” said Rahman.

“If I am doing other movies, the directors would say that the film will release on Diwali too. It was hell. I used to hate festivals because they used to give me hell. I have never enjoyed the festival," Rahman added.
