College Student misbehaves with Aparna Balamurali; Actress pained

Aparna Balamurali of Soorarai Pottru (Aakasame Nee Haddu Ra) fame is currently promoting her upcoming film, Thankam, which is set to be released on January 26th. As part of the promotions, the actress attended a college event in Kerala. However, during the event, a student got on stage without permission from the organizers and behaved inappropriately with the actress. The incident took place at a law college.

A video of the incident, which is now being shared on social media, shows the student approaching the actress on stage and presenting her with flowers. He then requests her to pose with him and proceeds to put his hands around her shoulders.

Aparna, who appears visibly uncomfortable, immediately moves away and asks him to step away. The video also captures the hooting of other students in the background.

The student later apologized for his behavior and tried to shake hands with Aparna, but she refused. He then extended his hand to Vineeth Srinivasa, the film's protagonist, who also refused to shake hands. The incident has sparked a conversation about the importance of consent and respecting personal space.

The actress revealed that the incident pained her and she said, "I am not filing a complaint as I don’t have the time to go behind it."
