Jr NTR & Trivikram - This is the most awaited combination of an actor-director in the Telugu film industry. The first film in their combination- Aravindha Sametha Veera Raghava is raising the audience expectations to a new high.
Unfortunately, Jr NTR lost his father Nandamuri Harikrishna in an accident while he was filming for this film. However, the dedication of Tarak made him continue the shooting and helped this film to release as per the scheduled date.
Finally, the most awaited combination has delivered their best possible output to us. Whether it satisfied the appetite of fans or not is discussed below in the Aravindha Sametha Veera Raghava review.
Veera Raghava Reddy (Jr NTR) father gets murdered by Basveswara Reddy (Jagapathi Babu) & his goons in the faction between Kommuddi & Nalla Gudi villages.
It makes Raghava Reddy kill Basveswara Reddy as revenge to his father’s murder. Later he realises peace between these two villages is the only possible solution to stop the faction. In this process, he leaves Kommuddi without informing his people to stop further violence from his side.
Well, the attempt of Raghava Reddy in bringing the peace is successful or not is the rest of the story.
Actors & Performances:
Jr NTR- He nailed it to the core with his spotless performance. In this film, he talks less and emotes more with his expressions. He carried the entire film on his shoulder so effortlessly and he shined in the role of Veera Raghava Reddy.
Jagapathi Babu- His fearful looks & vengeance in the performance makes his character to perfectly suit the role of a faction leader. He played his part so loudly & beautifully.
Supriya Pathak- Supriya Pathak has got a very small screen role but it is the role which changes the entire course of the story.
Sunil- He will be there from start to end in the movie. However, we can’t expect loads of entertainment as compared to his previous films.
Pooja Hegde & Eesha Rebba- Well, Pooja Hegde got a meaty role as per the story and she gave her best to the requirements of the role. However, Eesha Rebba’s screen space is very small and she hasn’t got much to perform.
Naveen Chandra- He played the role of Jagapathi Babu’s son in the movie and he proved his mettle in one of the sequences with Tarak.
Eeshwari Rao, Devayani, Rao Ramesh, Subhaleka Sudhakar, Nagababu & Brahmaji did their parts in the movie.
The very first fifteen minutes of the film sets up the intense tone for the film and especially when Jr NTR’s performance takes over every other thing on the screen clearly gives us an indication of an intense emotional journey ahead.
As we watch the screenplay, we get to know that Trivikram strictly took a stand to present the aftereffects of a faction in the most possible emotional way. However, his screenplay got diluted when the track of Aravindha-Raghava love track begins.
Somehow, his intense screenplay becomes thin as the justification of combining the Aravindha’s & faction track is not so convincing. As we already mentioned, the whole film drives on the emotional quotient, the part of entertainment quotient remains very little.
Well, the dialogues from Trivikram in some key scenes & sequences are top class. However, the same flow in dialogues are not upto his mark in the rest of the film. Trivikram tried to give his mark of the solution to stop the faction with Aravindha Sametha Veera Raghava.
Peniviti and Yeda Poyinado songs are superhits in the album. Background Score is terrific and in one way, it glorified the content in certain key scenes. PS Vinod’s camera work is top notch. His visuals brought life to the emotional scenes. Haarika & Haasine creations productions values is grand.
+ Jr NTR & Jagapathi Babu
+ Jr NTR-Naveen Chandra Sequence
+ Action Sequences
+ First Twenty Minutes
- Some Unnecessary Scenes in the Second Half
Final Verdict: Aravindha Sametha Veera Raghava is an intense emotional faction drama.
