Not all the contemporary actresses in TFI come forward to play stereotypical roles. Only few (one or two) stand out for being peculiar and playing regal roles. And our Devasena is undoubtedly the one among them who can mesmerize us with her talents.
Anushka enthralled all the ages with her act in Arundhati! On the occasion of Sweety’s birthday, first look of both her upcoming legen-(wait for it)-dary movies Baahubali and Rudramadevi have been unveiled.
Starting with Super, she gave strong signals that she is going make a difference. With Vikramarkudu, she turned as the dream girl of many teenagers. Sweety can suit the far-reaching role like Arundhati and she also can drench audience with her bubbly performance like Vennela (Mirchi).
All the directors, artists and technicians who has worked with her vouches for her dedication, modesty and it is the attitude of Anushka which has earned her huge name and fame, both off and on the screen. And it is been eight years since she has made her Tollywood debut and with every movie, she has developed from strength to strength.
Anushka is the same actress who was short of many Telugu films back then in years 2011 and 2012 but amazingly, she has her hands full now. She has quite a few projects in the pipeline, which will light the screens over the span of next few months. Her latest romantic fantasy film Varna is expected to hit the screens on November 22 in Telugu and Tamil simultaneously.
After this, Anushka’s female centric film, Rudramadevi is going to release in coming February, if all goes well. Directed by Gunasekhar, it is a first stereoscopic 3D film. Daggubati Rana is also playing an important role in this period drama.
Above all, Rajamouli’s magnum opus Baahubali will feature Anushka as a warrior princess and going by the response, which she has received for her first look, it would not be surprising if Devasena walks away with all the honours and awards post the film’s release.
