Tagline: Jai Rocks.... Lava Ok... Kusa Entertains...

Jr Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao-The man who is known for showcasing the enormous acting talent onscreen is coming to us with the triple role and it made everyone go curiously about as his acting performance get multiplied for the ‘3’ times. Now, we will go into the details of Jai Lava Kusa movie as Jai Lava Kusa review follows.

Story Plot:

Jai, Lava, and Kusa are the twin brothers. The story starts where three of them love the stage performances and start dramas. Jai, who has the stammering problem is forced to work backstage because of his speech disorder. His disability to render the dialogues perfectly makes him get ill-treated by his brothers (Lava & Kusa). With this, Jai feels insecure and starts thinking that he is being looked down because of his stammering. He starts to think negatively.

The three brothers drift apart. Jai becomes a notorious don, while Lava Kumar settles down as a bank employee. Kusa turns out to be a thief. The rest of story- How Ravana enters into the Lava & Kusa’s lives again and the repercussions must be seen on the screen.

Performances:

Jr NTR as Jai- His stellar performance will tear your heart and his dialogue delivery with stammering will leave a mark in your heart. Frankly, Jai's role is the attractive part in this film and NTR gave his best to make this ‘bad character to look good on screen’.

Jr NTR as Lava- Lava character is calm and cool. NTR who is known for showcasing the various shades in acting has easily portrayed this role well. Lava role worked as an emotionally driven role among the three.

Jr NTR as Kusa- This role ‘Kusa’ is the having the comedy touch among the three and also it generates the much-needed fun in the film. Tarak- who has got a natural comedy tinge in him has presented this role in the best way possible.

Raashi Khanaa & Nivetha Thomas got very less to perform and even less duration in the film. Posani Krishnamurali excelled in both fun & emotional scenes. Sai Kumar & Priyadarshi gave their best.

Analysis:

Jr NTR- this acting powerhouse once again delivers his career-best performance in the form of Jai role in Jai Lava Kusa. However, this performance gets diluted in the view of the audience by the Lava & Kusa’s roles.

We need to appreciate Bobby, Kona Venkat & Chakravarthy for their writing. However, the first half of finished mostly with the Lava & Kusa roles and Jai character enters onto the screen at the interval bang. Frankly, the audience are eagerly waiting to see the Jai more than the Lavudu & Kusudu on screen. Unfortunately, this script mostly covers up the attractive ‘Jai’ role with the “Lava & Kusa” roles. Climax stage performance sequences were written and shot well.

DSP’s background score provided the much-needed mood to the emotional scenes and his songs were not that much attractive (except Raavana song). Cinematography by Chota K Naidu and Production Design departments needs to get the special mention as both these departments have taken this film to the next level.

Plus Points:

+ Jr NTR as Jai

+ Jai Entry Scene
+ Production Design
+ Cinematography
+ BGM

Minus Points:

- Increased Duration of Lava & Kusa as compared to Jai aka Raavan

- Songs

Final Verdict:

Jai’s show in Jai Lava Kusa. The audience reacted and connected to the Jai as compared to the other roles.
