Nayak
Posted On 28 Dec 2013 - 05:47 AM

The 2013 Sankranthi festive season began with a successful note for the box office as well as Ram Charan with his film Nayak getting released. The film acted as a welcome breakthrough for the director V.V Vinayak as well with a success after series of mediocre films in his career graph. Power packed narration, good visuals, Entertainment value and Music aided the film to become one of the most successful films in the year 2013.

Why is it so?

The story is out and out commercial one which comprises of a Hero in dual role- while one Hero is happy-go-lucky; the other one is ambitious and fights over the injustice in the society.  The right balance between commercialism and serious subject worked very well in this film and that is why Naayak became successful. The first half comprising of Ram Charan and Brahmanandam’s comedy episodes worked really well. The pre-interval episode, the Kolkata flashback sequences were presented with ease and the film doesn’t fall short of entertainment even in the second half.  Thaman gave energetic music for a film like this and songs like “Laila O Laila”, “Oka Chupuke Padipoya” featured Ram Charan in good dancing avatar. The film also had "Subhalekha Rasukunna" (Chiranjeevi’s all time hit) remixed, becoming an added attraction for the film.

IQlikmovies.com strongly feels that Nayak is one of the most successful films of the year- giving a good kick start for the year 2013.
