Srinu Vaitla who has more often than not established himself as a director per excellence, has now come up with the sizzling and dazzling pair of Ram Charan and Rakul Preet Singh, in his upcoming film Bruce Lee. While there were possibilities of other names like Merupu and My Name is Raju, the final name that stuck with the film was Bruce Lee. Also, a small tag has been given to the name and the film now reads as Bruce lee: the fighter. The teaser created quite a storm in the film industry and the audience, the fans were of course expecting more from the director. He has not disappointed with his first look of the film. The teaser announced that the film is all set to release during the month of October.

Produced by DVV Danayya, the film is released by DVV entertainments. The script was done by Gopimohon and Kona Venkat with the screenplay being prepared by the director himself. The cinematography was managed by Manoj Paramhamsa while the responsibility of the soundtrack fell to S. Thaman.
