The new venture
There are rumors that this South Indian superstar will be starring in a yet untitled Telegu film. This film is supposed to be a remake of the great Tamil Blockbuster film by the name of Kaththi. The work on this new project is supposed to begin this year very soon. The film is also supposed to be the one hundred and fiftieth films by this superstar. Hence, the film carries an added importance for his fans and followers all over India and is much anticipated.
The final decision
Chiranjeevi has been known to give his informal consent for the project as of yet. However, nothing has been confirmed officially as the signing of the main contract is yet to take place. After reading the script he had requested for some changes in it. The changes were required in order to suit the Telegu sensibilities, according to certain rumors. He is now waiting for the changes to be made before finally signing up for the film. The original film was both written as well as directed by A.R Murugadoss. He has been recruited yet again to make the final changes to the script as requested by Chiranjeevi, the superstar.
About the new film
This remake will be directed by the famous director V.V Vinayak. The film is also produced by Madhu. This is the second film that will see Chiranjeevi and Vinayak to join hands. The first time was during the making of the Telegu film Tagore. At first, the remake was planned with Pawan Kalyan and NTR as the lead. However, none of these actors showed much interest in the film. Hence, the script was automatically given to Chiranjeevi. Once the script came in to his notice, he was very quick to grab it. The film is supposed to be co-produced by Ram Charan who is also the son of the superstar.
