The reports state that she has been asked to play the female lead opposite the famous actor in the upcoming film. This film is called Kung Fu Yoga. News about its shooting as well as other information has been reaching the media for quite some time now.
The previous roles
Previous to this, Mallika Sherawat, the popular Bollywood actress was seen in a role opposite Jackie Chan. This film was called the Myth. Ileana plays a character that has much more screen time and is more important than Mallika Sherawat’s character in the myth. In fact, she couldn’t ask for a better way to launch herself in Hollywood. Current status of the actress
The actress is now currently resident in Dubai. A large part of Kung Fu yoga is supposed to be shot in India. Because of its shooting locations Jackie Chan now prefers to take an Indian actress opposite him in the leading role. Other Indian actors with known faces have also been recruited for the role. One of the main names among these is that of Sonu Sood. He has been cast as the parallel lead opposite Jackie Chan.
