The T-town has now and then raised its voice through the stars and superstars. Of course, the issues have been poignant and serious, thus T-town has its own contribution in terms of social welfare and has a good role to play in various major issues. But, there are issues that seem to be petty and are conveniently ignored by these big names. But, these petty issues combine to create havoc damage to the society in terms of health and hygiene or other issues. However, an exception occurred when Charmme walked out to spread awareness regarding an issue that is evident to many but never had a strong voice of protest. The issue is, of course, the demand for clean toilets and the presence of one toilet at least in every household.
Raising a general awareness
While it is more than welcome, T-town has largely neglected such issues since they are not comfortable with it. However, Charmme broke the taboo by going out herself. The occasion was there to do it and she surely did it in style. On the eve of World Toilet day, she and thousands of others walked out to ensure a mass awareness about the necessity of toilets and their hygienic importance. It is not just the mere sanitation facility that is in demand, but a better and cleaner one so that public health awareness increases manifolds. This is surely a bold move from her.
A less glamorous cause
The people of T-town have often been accused of being interested in causes that have some amount of glamour in it. If there are marathons and other issues for a cause, then they do participate. Of course, an issue regarding toilets has not an ounce of glamour. Still, the participation of such a big name is commendable and would break the general idea about the big shots of the industry. Recognising the need for a desperate push to ensure public health is protected, this move will boost the morale of the mass and more stars may understand their participatory value in such campaigns. In a country where stars’ words are regarded like doctrines, it is surely a wise decision to encourage more stars to follow her path.
For a cleaner India
Since the idea of clean and green India is on the high after the arrival of the new government, this is perfectly in tune with what the direction should be. Not only the mass, but also the important figures should come ahead to join this nationwide campaign to make India a better place to live in. When such beautiful and charming stars are voicing their concerns and showing them, then the mass will surely understand its importance and fight for the cause. Also, more superstars may feel that they should bear some responsibility in this and join the cause. The more the merrier, since that will ensure a bigger mass is gathered under the aegis of numerous superstars. Whether that materializes or not, the future will tell. But that does not take the credit away from Charmee.
