One simply doesn’t call her a natural actress. She can portray any role with ease and her amazing performances never cease. As you have already guessed, she’s none other than Jayasudha. But, the task of "acting” has its own way of troubling actors and the natural actress is not an exception.


 

The film Jyothi is considered one of the greatest blockbusters of Jayasudha’s career. And how can anyone forget her lovely laughs in the title song "Sirimalle Puvalle Navvu”? But the fact is that those laughs are not of Jayasidha’s. They were of the amazing singer S. Janaki’s, who sang the song. Janaki had no problem while recording those laughs and finished recording them at a stretch. But, it was Jayasudha who struggled to match to those laughs on the sets. She tried really hard to laugh up to the level of Janaki. It took her take after take and she finally succeeded in matching up to Janaki. She also happened to admit that it was one of the hardest acting assignments in her career and stressed that the credit for those memorable laughs should go to S. Janaki and not her. The absolute modesty of the natural actress unveiled in one of her interviews!
