If you are destined to get it, you will get it no matter what! If not, destiny takes a different turn and favors someone else. This holds true for many actors. One good example is actress Anushka who got two such chances, both from actress Mamatha Mohandas. Anushka’s biggest and most successful film of her career 'Arundhathi' was first offered to Mamatha Mohandas. But she couldn’t foresee the outcome of the film. She denied the lucky offer and it directly made its way to Anushka who was destined to fit into the role of Arundhati.
Adding to it, Mamatha Mohandas also rejected the role of Amalapuram Saroja in the film 'Vedam'. She was the one who was first offered the role by director Krish. She again faltered in judging the character’s importance. Later, Krish approached Anushka and she took the role as a challenge, which got her critical appreciation.
