NotesLalith (Rahul) is a talented, upcoming lyricist. He helps a budding singer Swathi (Saranya) to win a TV singers show, Ragala Pallakeelo with a song written by him with out revealing his identity. When he plans to reveal her his love, he meets with an accident due to Mallika's rash driving and loses his vision. Mallika (Charmi), a call girl realizes her mistake and gives him shelter and later comes to know his past from his diary. What happens next is the actual story.
Rahul, Saranya, Charmi are the important characters in the movie. Rahul and Saranya came up with pretty ordinary performances. Charmi who usually marvels in heroine centric movie looked very ordinary in the movie. In fact, the makers have projected it as a heroine centric movie but Charmi is more of a guest appearance in the movie. It is almost 'Cheating audience'. A valued artist like Rao Ramesh is also under utilized. Rest of the characters are not even worth mentioning.
Chandu who delivered some good movies like 10th Class and Notebook fell flat this time. He along with PRO Pulagam Chinnarayana (debut as dialogue writer) scripted the story and the output is quite pathetic. No character in the movie is written well and the narration is very badly executed that almost every scenes is predictable. Except for one - two comedy scenes, nothing worked out on screen.
Music directors duo MGK Praveen and S.R.Posam did not do justice to their roles. Background score is very pale and the album is equally dull. Some good lyrics have been wasted.
Camera work by Praveen is totally unprofessional. And in the editing department, one would suppose V. Nagi Reddy may have taken revenge on the movie for nonpayment of bills
I cannot be any harsh. I would advise to stay away even if you are a hardcore Charmi fan or if even you are dying out of boredom.
