If given a squad like Superstar Mahesh Babu, Milky White beauty Tamannah Bhatia and one of the best production company 14 Reel Entertainment, any filmmaker would aim to make an expensive cum extraordinary film with lavish sets and high production values. But, ironically, actor Mahesh Babu had made an unusual request to his director Srinu Vaitla and producers Ram, Gopichand and Anil; he wants his ongoing film Aagadu to be made on a low-budget. It might be Surprising but true, says a source close to the actor.

In order to compensate the losses incurred by 1-Nenokkadine (a 14 Reels production), Superstar has reportedly asked the makers to bring down the slated budget for Aagadu. Needless to say, Mahesh Babu is not happy with its result.  It remains to be seen whether the makers accept his request or proceed with their usual way of making. Mahesh Babu has already said that 14 Reels is the best production house in his career. Being a Superstar, he proved that he acts to the interest of his producers.

Tipped as an out-and-out commercial entertainer, Aagadu has Brahmanandam, Sai Kumar, Prakash Raj and Rajendra Prasad in significant roles. Ace director Srinu Vaitla is helming this project while Thaman SS is rendering audio tunes and back ground music.
