Ram Charan is well known for choosing 'Angry Young man' roles which involve powerful dialogues and action sequences. He has the capability of giving the best for such roles and it has always been his biggest strength. Right from Nayak to Yevadu which released earlier this year, the angry young man look fetched good image for Cherry. His first Bollywood bilingual venture Thoofan (Zanjeer in Hindi) featured him in a full length cop role for the first time (where he reprised the role played by Big B in the older version of Zanjeer).
Gautham Menon on the other hand is one of the most talented directors of South Indian Cinema and he can narrate a love story with beautiful style and artistic vision. It was Venkatesh's Gharshana and Raghavan (Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu), he chose a powerful cop hero as the protagonist. As per our inside sources, Cherry would be seen as a cop for the second time in his upcoming film with Gautham Menon. Gautham Menon is currently busy with Ajith's Yennai Arindhaal.
The Gautham Menon-Ram Charan project is likely to hit the sets once Yennai Arindhaal gets wrapped up. However, an official confirmation is still awaited by the Mega fans.
