Call it a boon or bane but the recent bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh has left a lot of collateral damage and the first to suffer heavily has been the entertainment industry. Since then, the issue of regional feeling has been burning underneath. But on the brighter side, Tollywood is now growing in Andhra Pradesh infrastructure-wise.

In the last few months, lot of success meets and audio functions have begun happening in Andhra Pradesh and now talk is emerging about a possible film city in the newly announced capital of Amaravathi. Already, Telangana CM KCR has approved 2000 acres of land at Rachakonda for a new film city.

Similarly, if Chandrababu Naidu also does the same then many film celebrities who have their base in Hyderabad will buy lands there. Speculation is rife that once the entire Chitranagari is set properly then the Tollywood biggies will eventually move the industry to Amaravathi side. Let us see what happens.
