Though Tollywood is big and big budget flicks are made, the reality is, for a Telugu film to touch Rs 100 crores is next to impossible. But there is one Telugu director who might become the first filmmaker from Tollywood to enter the prestigious 100 crores club and that too in Mumbai.
The director in discussion is the intellectual filmmaker Krish. Recently, Krish made his debut in Bollywood with the movie Gabbar Is Back and despite divide talk, the film has already garnered a whopping Rs 64 crores as per sources from Mumbai. They are also predicting the film will touch 100 crores.
This is because the other releases scheduled right now are not that strong and the collections for Gabbar Is Back have been going steady since a while. Let us wish this does happen quickly and Krish becomes the first Telugu director to achieve this unique record.
