Samantha has undoubtedly ruled the roost here in Tollywood with many super hits and memorable films. However, her stint in Kollywood didn’t turn fruitful until Kaththi happened. Now things have changed and in fact turned around as Samantha’s kitty is full of crazy Tamil films.
Her immediate next is 10 Endrathkulla featuring alongside Chiyaan Vikram and Sam is simultaneously shooting for Suriya’s upcoming 24 directed by Manam fame Vikram K Kumar. Adding to the list is an untitled film with Dhanush directed by Velraj and she is also featuring in director Atlee’s (of Raja Rani fame) forthcoming film that is pre-production currently.
According to the latest reports, she has been roped in for a new Tamil movie titled Vada Chennai and this film becomes Sam’s second film with Dhanush. This movie is being directed by Vetrimaaran (Aadukalam & Pollathavan fame) and sources say this Vada Chennai movie story has been on the cards from the past seven years and finally the film has materialized now.
So this Chennai beauty has finally got a chance to rock in her motherland. Good luck Sam!
