Why Lyricists Absent In 'Baahubali' Audio?

The audio release event of the magnum opus Baahubali happened in a grand style at Tirupathi and it was star studded with the entire cast and crew. While that is alright, one major and strange thing was observed by many. Well, none of the lyricists who wrote the songs in the film were seen onstage.

It is not even sure if they were present at the event. The big question is, why were they not seen or called onstage. If one can recall, even for the movie Puli which had the music by A R Rahman, lyricist’s Chandrabose’s name was missed from the album cover then later it was added.

Generally, an audio function means the evening belongs to music director and lyricists. Of course it takes star value for TRP in TV channels which cover the event but even the presence of lyricists is also required. The final touch is, Rajamouli has thanked and apologized through his tweets for any gaps but he has not mentioned about them even there also. Strange but true!
