Bangalore Days Remake Shelved?

Bangalore Days – the most loved Malayalam film in recent times. The new age film adorns a significant pan Indian fan base and lists top in the must watch Indian films in recent times.

This Anjali Menon directorial featuring Dulquar Salmaan, Nazriya Nazim, Nivin Pauly, Nitya Menen, Fahadh Fazal and others has fans amidst our Telugu and even Tamil filmmakers as well. That is why, PVP banner has chosen to remake the film both in Tamil and Telugu languages. While the Tamil version is being directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar featuring Rana, Arya, Srividya, Bobby Simha and others, the Telugu version is believed to be directed by Venu Sriram starring Nithya Menen, Sharwanand, Srinivas Avasarala and Varun Tej.

Though surprised initially, the Bangalore Days fans were quite delighted to hear the remake news. However, there were apprehensions about recreating the magic right from the beginning. The Tamil version is under production but our inside sources reveal that, the Telugu remake has been shelved and the reason behind this is yet to be known.

They say ‘Classics are not made, they just happen’ and not many succeeded in remaking the classics. Guess the Telugu filmmakers have realized very lately. Better late than never!
