We know of many film celebrities contributing their best to this society and being inspirational to many. Tamil hero Vishal also joined this elite club. Though he is into philanthropic activities from a while, he has recently taken a leap and established a foundation on his mother’s name.
Going into the details, Vishal has instituted ‘Devi Social and Educational Foundation’ that works towards the educational welfare of poor and underprivileged girl children. And talking about inspiration behind this Vishal said “My mother used to be very strict and is the reason behind my education and discipline. She used to always advise me to do something useful for others. And other inspiration is late Dr.APJ.Abdul Kalam who always insisted upon education for everyone!”
Before the announcement of this foundation, 16 girl students have been identified in the disciplines of Arts, Engineering and Medicine and given educational help. Vishal asserts that “Qualified and deserving girl students will get this help stream line”. He also added that “This is just a beginning and sooner it will grow into a banyan tree”
