The moment you hear that a movie is being made with war backdrop and that too from the ancient times involving swordsmen, archers etc, the excitement and curiosity to watch it increases. The result of that is already seen through the outcome of the magnum opus Baahubali.
In lieu of that, another movie being made in Tamil was being touted as the answer to Baahubali. This is the movie Puli which has an ensemble cast of Vijay, Shruti Haasan, Sridevi, Sudeep, Hansika and others. The film has been garnering a lot of hype but the latest update has fizzled it a bit.
Apparently, Puli came out of the censor office with a clean ‘U’ certificate. Usually, films that don’t have violence or war sequences tend to get a clean U so is that the case with Puli?. Even if it had got a U/A it would have been alright but ‘U’ has raised many eyebrows. We have to wait till October 1st when the film releases and then decide.
