There are a certain type of fields which are dependent heavily on the external factors such as Nature, political situation and other issues. The cinema industry stands top in that list and it is also the most sensitive because it is a public product. So, whenever something goes wrong, the box office gets affected first.
True to that, the Kollywood industry is currently going through a very lean phase since the last few days. The reason for that is the incessant rain which has created a flood situation in many parts of Tamil Nadu. As a result, movies which have been going with good momentum have suffered badly.
First in that list is the movie Vedhalam which has the big hero Ajith in the lead. The Kollywood seniors say they have no choice but to wait for the rains and the water flooding to subside and only then theatres can open. With Chennai being the main business center, they are hoping it stands on its feet soon.
