It doesn’t matter how good a film you make, if you don’t get the sufficient number of theatres, you are doomed. There are many instances where good movies lost out due to a raw deal in acquiring theatres. When it comes to the Naizam area, producer Dil Raju is the kingpin who has a stronghold in theatres.
In the recent past, two other entities have come up. They are Abhishek Movies and Rising Movies who are attempting to emerge as competition to Dil Raju in terms of distribution. But Dil Raju has got theatres in his command so it is heard that with that he is trying to curb his competitors.
Buzz is that the upcoming movie Abbayitho Ammayi Nizam rights is sold to Suresh Reddy, owner of Rising Movies and it is releasing on December 24. Buzz is that they are targeting 30 theatres in Nizam but so far they could get about 5 to 6.
So, internal discussions are on to get the remaining theaters. Let us wish the competition tension should not fall on release because expectations are high and positive on this film.
