Young Hero Vishal is trying to cement his place in Telugu film industry with his movies and this time Kathakali is his bet.
Well it is being dubbing in Telugu which was initially slated for Jan 22 release. According to the latest reports, Kathakali movie release was postponed due to the delay in the censor formalities. Hence the producers decided to postpone the release. Actually this film was scheduled to release as Pongal special (Jan 14) along with its Tamil version. However due to the Big Telugu films releases, Kathakali stood away from the race.
Kathakali is produced by Vishal under his home banner Vishal Film Factory and directed by Pandiraj of Tamil hit film Goli Soda fame. Catherine Tresa (of Iddarammayilatho fame) is the lead lady.
