There was a time when the business of cinema for Tollywood revolved around the domestic market i.e the Telugu state and few neighbouring states. But with passing time, the overseas market also became a component and today it has become a key revenue center for every film.
Hence, whenever a film is being shaped up, the taste of the NRI audience is also being considered while preparing the script. That way, having a strong following in places like US means the hero is a bigger celebrity. So far, the overseas market was ruled by Mahesh Babu, Pawan Kalyan.
But now, the likes of Junior NTR, Allu Arjun also joined the club. However, the latest addition is a surprise. It is the natural star Nani and currently he is emitting shockwaves in overseas again. This is through his latest release KVPG. Prior to this, it was Nani’s Bhale Bhale Magadivoy which raked in one and half million USD. All in all Nani has created a strong overseas market for him now.
