There is always that distinction between the small, medium and big budget flicks and it is also seen when the films are planning for release. The common trend so far has been that the small budget flicks have got a raw deal when it comes to theatres or the right distribution support.
However, the situation in Tollywood is changing rapidly. A new movie by the name of Pelli Choopulu is gearing up to release and Raj Kandukuri is the producer. Tharun Bhascar who made the famous short film Sainma is helming this movie. Sources say he was referred by Daggubati Suresh to Raj Kandukuri.
It is heard that the Daggubati family is giving full support to this project and the towering hunk Daggubati Rana is taking special interest in it. Lately, small budget movies are getting backing from big banners like Varahi, PVP, Geetha arts which means they will get good release. Inside news is that even Pelli Choopulu has come out very well and hit chances are high.
