Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s Sardaar Gabbarsingh is unarguably the most awaited film of the season. It is naturally a record breaker but the film was expected to re-write box-office records outshining Baahubali as well.

In terms of the merit, the film bagged a divided talk but the openings are estimated to be dethroning Baahubali. Finally, the much awaited Sardaar Gabbarsingh first day collections are out and the film finished second missing Baahubali’s record of Highest first day opening collections in AP/TS by a whisker.

Going into the details, Baahubali has reportedly minted Rs 21.8 Crores (Share) across the two Telugu states on day one. As per latest reports, Sardaar Gabbarsingh has raked in Rs 21Cr share (in AP+TS), Rs 5Cr in the overseas & Rs 3Cr in the rest of India. Director Bobby also confirmed the same a short while ago.

SGS also enjoyed a colossal release across the globe and Pawan Kalyan’s box-office stamina has been once again proved. We need to wait and see if Sardaar can maintain the same vigor and power at the box-office going forward.
