For a long time, the Telugu cinema was discussed as an era before Shiva and an era after Shiva. But now, the scales have changed and a new era has begun. This is before Baahubali and after Baahubali. Due credit for that goes to the tough taskmaster S S Rajamouli for creating a new wave in Telugu cinema.
Currently, Rajamouli is busy with the wrapping up of Baahubali-The Conclusion and it has been locked for a release on April 14th, 2017. Given that, discussions are now emerging as to what would be his next project after this. Some are speculating Rajamouli would go for a small budget flick.
However, given the expectations on him, the majority of them are recommending that except doing something like the grand epic Mahabharata directly in Hollywood anything else would be small. This does sound quite ambitious but it would be interesting to see which path Rajamouli takes.
