Once you announce the release of a film with its date, the audience gets prepared for that date but the moment you start postponing it, doubts begin to arise. The negative vibe increases if the movie is a small budget flick. So, it takes a while before the film regains its momentum.
One film which is going through that phase right now is Chuttalabbayi featuring Lovely Rocking Star Aadi, son of dialogue king Sai Kumar. The film has gone through two release dates and now it is arriving on August 19. The big question being raised is, what will happen to the film.
It is more or less a do or die project for Aadi as he has been reeling through a series of hits. The promos and teasers have shown there is sufficient commercial content in it. The film is also a litmus test for director Veerabhadram Chowdary who had a great start to his career and suffered jolts.
