Jaguar is an upcoming action entertainer starring Nikhil Gowda, Deepti Sati, Brahmanandam and Jagapati Babu in lead roles. Music for the film is composed by SS Thaman and here is an iQlik exclusive audio review of the album:
The anticipated album starts off with Get Set Go Ready in typical Thaman style laden with high voltage rhythm, electric guitars and bass work. Ranjith Govind does a good job in bringing out the additional thump to the track and Rama Jogayya Sastry’s quirky lyrics are quite good as well.  The interludes are quite trendy and set the stage for a fun filled tracklist.

Another fun track Andanike Selfie Ve arrives in style and has irresistible resemblance to Kung Fu Kumari from Bruce Lee.  Mika Singh makes all the difference with his brilliant rendition and Kanika Kapoor gives it a trendy twist as well. The pulsating rhythm and riffs are even more enjoyable to hear. Despite the regular style of orchestration, Mika Singh’s vocals add the additional thump.

Ma Ma Mama Seetha is a another stylish number with catchy rhythm and the tune has great resemblance to Endhuku Emo from Rangam. The contemporary electric guitars give it a makings of a cool Pop song. The bass work is quite commendable and electric guitars stand out quite well.

A trance like track Nammave Bujji sung by Rahul Nambiar again comprises of riffs and digitized loops. Rama Jogayya Sastry’s lyrics prove once again that he can create a trendiest number with equal ease.  The interludes are laid back and at the same time create good impact on the listener.

The inevitable item song Mandara Thailam starts off on a classy note but transforms remarkably to a mass number sung by Sanjana and Deepak. The delicate rhythm slowly blends to a trance style with great ease.  The song creates a new trend for an item number which slowly gets into to the groove and also has the Indian style peppiness with tabla as well.

Jaguar is a fun filled album from SS Thaman comprising of entertaining tracks throughout.
