Unless you are working in a government job or a bank job or a private company or sports, the concept of retirement doesn’t really exist in other fields. This is more so in the film industry. As long as you have talent and creative juices, you can work.
Given that, one famous Tollywood lyricist got into headlines for his retirement announcement. He is none other than Bhaskarabhatla Ravi Kumar. Apparently, three years back in an interview he said “I will stop writing songs after five years and take retirement.”
He reportedly added “I want to live peacefully.” However, the good news is that, recently someone asked him about the same and he said he is postponing his retirement as he cannot stop the workflow. As such, he is still young and even a super senior like Sirivennela is writing. Many feel Bhaskarabhatla should not stop and even the industry will also not allow him to stop.
