To those of you who belong to the current generation, the name of Vangaveeti Mohana Ranga may not sound familiar but if you hail from Vijayawada or have inclination towards politics, this name can never be forgotten. He is the Congress leader who was assassinated many years ago.
Now, a movie on his life titled as Vangaveeti is hitting the screens and here is an update. There are few groups in the Krishna–Guntur districts known as the Ranga-Radha Mitra Mandali. They are still active and now they have decided to make the theatres houseful when the film arrives.
For the audio release function fifty thousand people came. When the director RGV came to Vijayawada, about two thousand came to welcome him.
