Actor, Lyricist, musician- Farhan Akhtar launched a new song from his upcoming movie Lucknow Central at Yerawada Jail. The song which goes with the lyrics Teen Khabutar was launched amidst the inmates of Yerawada Jail on the occasion of Independence Day.
Lucknow Central is a movie based on the real life incidents. Ranjith Tiwari is the director of this movie and the makers decided to release the song in Yerawada Jail as a part of their unique promotions. Farhan earlier announced that he had taken the permissions for the concerned officers to do so.
The prisoners were excited to see Farhan Akhtar sing, dance and perform live for them. The jail inmates had a chance to join him and the whole environment turned out to be in a festive mood. Lucknow Central is slated for a release on 15th September.
