You can call it the extremities of disappointment and that letdown feeling which results in satires and mocking on every single aspect. This happens a lot when you have a lot of expectations for a film and then it turns out to be a damp squib. The latest release ‘Agnyaathavasi’ is giving such bitter feeling amongst many.
As part of that, the latest reaction is regarding the Kodaka Koteswarrao episode in the movie. The unanimous observation which came was, it is an absolutely insipid scene which is tasteless and some are even asking what is the need for keeping that except wasting time and frustrating the audience even more.
While the point is valid there are those who have given another perspective. They are reminding “All of us enjoyed the Antakshari episode in ‘Gabbar Singh’ followed by Ahalya episode in ‘Attarintiki Daredi’, was there any logic to those scenes. The only difference is, then it worked and this time it didn’t.”
