The clock is ticking for one of the most highly anticipated movies of the season to hit the marquee. We are talking about the movie ‘Tholi Prema’ featuring Mega Prince Varun Tej and cutie beauty Raashi Khanna. This also marks the debut of Venky Atluri as the director and here is an interesting tidbit about this young man.
Apparently, Venky happens to be one of the heroes of the movie ‘Snehageetham’ and during the shooting he was showing interest in dialogues. Six years back he did a short film called Vadha and in that the eccentric genius Ram Gopal Varma’s nephew Suman Varma acted as one of the key characters.
In the title credits, Venky’s name came as Venkee Atluuri and it is heard that a numerology angle was there behind that spelling. But in his latest offering ‘Tholi Prema’ his normal spelling has come. It appears Venky has crossed everything and came here. He is a very talented writer and nice filmmaker and will reach great heights if this movie works. All the best Venky!
