Every now and then we are having to speak about the biopics and the reason for that is the number of biopics which are being announced. The latest on that front happens to be a biopic based on the life of his holiness Ramanujacharya. He was the founder of Vaishnavism and one of the oldest seers who created a new cult.
According to reports, planning is on to do a biopic on the eve of his 1000th anniversary. Different names are being heard when it comes to the directors and the list includes the wizard of words Trivikram Srinivas, the tough taskmaster S S Rajamouli and now even the intellectual filmmaker Krish has been taken into that list.
Buzz is that it is going to be a great project with ambitious budgets because My Home group chairman Rameshwar Rao and his holiness Chinna Jeeyar Swamy would be patronizing this project. As such, any of the three directors are okay for the project but then who will do Ramanujacharya’s role is going to be key.
