It was earlier reported that Akhil Akkineni's upcoming movie is to be directed by 'Tholi Prema' fame Venky Atluri. Though there are no official inputs, the cine folks report that the movie has been okayed and will be launched soon.
After re-launching Akhil with the movie HELLO, Nagarjuna seems to be keen on roping him under a capable director's assistance. Venky Atluri who stepped in the movie industry as an actor and writer turned to be a director with the latest movie Tholi Prema. Tholi Prema not only earned a good amount at the box-office but also brought critical acclamation to him, as well as the actors.
Seems like Nagarjuna is quite impressed with Venky. So, he has roped in Venky Atluri to direct Akhil in his next. The latest we hear is that this much-awaited project will have an official launch on March 18 ie on UGADI-The Telugu New Year. The team is already in the search of the locations too.
