Some titles have the power to catch instant attention and they also manage to be in news for quite some time. Few directors know this and they keep coming up with such titles that make an impact. Speed director Puri Jagannadh is one among them and one of his projects happen to be ‘Jana Gana Mana’ which has been in the offing for a while.

The project garnered a lot of attention with the news that superstar Mahesh Babu would do that. However, it appears that is not going to happen. Meanwhile, Puri reportedly mentioned he is quite excited about the script of this movie because it deals with assaults on women and few burning issues in the society.

Those who heard this are asking if it is an extended version of the movie ‘Raakhi’ which came many years ago and was helmed by creative genius Krishna Vamsi. Incidentally, Puri had included the component of assault on women in one of his recent ventures ‘Temper’ which worked very well. Keep watching this space for further updates.
