Statistically speaking, most of us believe superstar Mahesh Babu and power star Pawan Kalyan are the number one heroes of Tollywood. Now that Pawan has quit movies and shifted to politics, Mahesh has emerged as the number one. While that may be true to an extent, the real hero in other parameters seems to be someone else.

It is none other than the young rebel star Prabhas. When he dedicated five long years for just a single movie, his fans and admirers were upset but now they are seeing the fruits of it. Prabhas’s role in ‘Baahubali’ has made him a darling not just to the Telugu people but to people all over the nation. And here is a classic example.

It is being noticed that some of the reputed gyms in Punjab are having a life size standee of Prabhas in his ‘Sivudu’ avatar and the youngsters there are taking him as reference point for their fitness. On the other hand ‘Baahubali’ is the highest grosser in Punjab till date. The way Prabhas has taken the Telugu pride to a new level is something commendable.
